Maître Gims is without any doubt one of France's most influencial artists, yet a lot of music lovers often tend to disregard his music, for being too simplistic and too mainstream.
I wanted to revisit some of Gims's tunes, some famous, some relatively confidential, with a focus on rhytm and versatility.
Although some tracks definitely sound like shitposting, this album is more of a pastiche than a parody, and all the tunes were done with love and respect for the materials involved.
